The Placement module gathers the necessary student personal information and educational background for assessment purposes. The module utilizes the profile data to construct a customized placement test to assess and direct the student to the appropriate starting point within the Developmental Mathematics curriculum and guide the customer to the correct workbook choice. The placement of the student at the appropriate level within the curriculum is governed by his or her performance on the customized placement exam. GREATPYRAMID.COM makes the paper copies of the five placement exams, which cover the entire workbook series (Levels 1 to 16), accessible by PDF Download procedures. However, please allow enough time to occupy your telephone line, as these documents are illustrative and colorful. Each of the placement tests is 8 text pages and 4 cover pages. Mathematics Programs Associates, with the expertise of Pyramid Software, has also developed an automated on-line and real-time computerized version of the Developmental Mathematics Placement framework. The computerized test is available here for your convenience and also on disk for you to use at home, school, or in the office.
